แม้จะผ่านมาหลายทศวรรษแล้ว แต่บุคคลอินเตอร์เซ็กส์ยังคงถูกทำให้มองไม่เห็น ถูกผลักไสให้อยู่นอกนิยามของ “เพศที่เข้าใจได้บนพื้นฐานเพศสรีระโดยธรรมชาติ” ถูกอ้างอิงด้วยองค์ความรู้ของวิทยาศาสตร์จากโลกยุคเก่าที่ผูกขาดความจริงร่างกายผ่านคำว่า “ปกติ” และ “ผิดปกติ” โดยที่บุคคลอินเตอร์เซ็กส์ไม่มีสิทธิ์พูดถึงร่างกายตัวเองเลย เพราะถูกปิดปากด้วยคำว่า XX = เพศหญิง XY = เพศชาย นอกเนื้อจากนั้น คือความผิดปกติที่ต้องได้รับการบำบัดรักษา

Today is IDAHOBITAN — a day to reclaim our right to fully exist as intersex people.
Despite decades of struggle, intersex individuals remain unseen, marginalised, and excluded from the dominant binary narratives of “biological sex.”We continue to be referenced only through scientific frameworks rooted in outdated knowledge systems—systems that monopolise bodily truth through terms like “normal” and “abnormal,” while denying us the right to speak for our own bodies.
We have been silenced by pseudo-scientific dogma that insists:XX = female, XY = male — everything else must be corrected.
Our bodies are not experiments. Not biological equations. Not mistakes of nature.”— A voice from the intersex community rising to reclaim bodily autonomy and self-determination.
On this day of global resistance against hatred and discrimination toward gender and sexual diversity, intersex people are not merely threads in the rainbow flag fluttering for visibility. We are the biological diversity that’s been severed, erased, and pathologised.But today, we weave our own thread back into the human fabric. To be seen. To be heard. To be recognised — as natural, and as whole.
This year, Intersex Thailand joins the global celebration of IDAHOBITAN 2025 under the theme: “The Power of Communities.”We honour this moment with timeless words from queer thinkers who stand with us — in thought, in body, and in history:
